About Me
I am a local artist from Leavenworth. I create in many different media from painting, drawing, fibers, sculpture, and digital media. I have a passion to teach others to explore their individual voice. Through creating and sharing we can embrace diversity and celebrate our differences, and similarities. Art is a universal language. I enjoy providing a fun atmosphere for others to create. I have been teaching art to others for over 20 years. I love the creative energy that is shared when creating together.
I am inspired by bright colors, the human form, and nature. Impressionism is one of my favorite styles with loose, quick brush strokes, thick impasto texture, and generous use of value. Cubism also draws me in with the challenges it presents to the mind and eye. I am reminded that even though we are looking at the same thing we may see it differently. I hope you find time to create today- music, sewing, dancing… let’s create together soon.
Warmly,
Teara Dillon
